Excitement and hilarity marked zealous Baisakhi and Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations at BVM(USN) today.The celebrations commenced with special morning assembly held in the ground.The theme of the harvest festival was the ‘Talent Hunt Show’ an exhibition of latent talents of energetic BVMites through a plethora of culture activities like singing, folk dancing,mono acting and poem recitation. Under the three categories,the first category comprised the munchkins from class 1 to 3 bursting with enthusiasm during their performances in rainbow attires.The second & third category comprised of budding artists from class 4 to 6 & 7 to 10 respectively Punjabi lasses and lads added typical flavour of Punjab through their performances.
Another highlight of the day was the celebration of Dr B.R.Ambedkar jayanti .Mrs. Urmil Kalia(PRT)focused on the great but humble personality of the creator of Indian Constitution Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar who attained a striking position in Indian History on account of his clear vision and ability .The celebrations culminated with a note of gaiety as the Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi extended her best wishes on the auspicious occasions and exhorted the students to participate in such events whole heartedly in future too. Winners were honoured with prizes and appreciation certificates .The result of the talent show is as following.
